a week agoWe had a great time at Uga jungle beach. At first we had a problem with the cabin we were in, so we went to reception and they moved us to another cabin. The cabin and the private access to the sea was wow! We loved the large shower and of course the outdoor shower. Room service was excellent. The food was amazing!! The most delicious we ate in Sri Lanka. The chef really took into account our preferences and did what could be adapted to us. The staff was kind and pleasant throughout the stay. The beach and the pool were the best and of course the sky full of stars at night.. Will Definitely recommend!

a month agoA very special place in a very special location! The hotel was unique in style and perfect for our taste. The rooms are large and comfortable and the outdoor shower was just lovely. The staff were really friendly and did everything they could to make our stay a perfect one. A couple of things didn't go quite to plan along the way, but Gothami's warm, professional approach meant that the problems were dealt with straight away and we were left with a smile on our face. Thoroughly recommend the beach barbecue - incredible fresh food - we dined like kings and were made to feel very special. A morning trip to Pigeon Island is also recommended if you are keen on snorkelling and seeing the local sealife. However, be warned, the sea can be choppy! The sunset trip through the mangroves with a local fisherman and his grandson was a memory we will keep forever and a perfect way to end our holiday. This area is still relatively unspoilt and, if that's the way you like things, Uga Jungle Beach comes with a 5* recommendation! Thank you to all the team - you were just wonderful!

3 months agoThe best boutique hotel I've been to in Sri Lanka. The food, experience, views, service all were excellent. The private beach with lifeguards was awesome to bathe in. Food consisted of course meals with various varieties of food to choose from. Highly recommended for a calm and relaxing experience far from the capital.
